Shapes Houses

The kids in the Pre-K class loved this a the beginning of the year. I pre-cut all the squares, triangles, and rectangles.  I also cut the tree shapes.  I decided to let the kids cut out their grass.  So I drew lines for them to cut on.  I made an example one to see how it would look. 
When I set the table up, each shape had it's own container.  I placed glue and scissors at each spot.  The kids went "shopping" for their colors and shapes.  I found some some cool pens leftover from another project for them to use.
